november 2023
This was commissioned by Bailoran Solicitors in order to sponsor the charity Leeds Baby Bank who work to distribute childcare essentials to families in need across Leeds.
To reflect the spirit of the charity, I used their logo as inspiration for the illustrations and also combined its colours with those of Bailoran Solicitors to create a unified and meaningful pallet. The design was intentionally playful and vibrant, resonating with children and families, especially given the high number of families living in the surrounding area.
The box was painted using a mix of spray paint and durable metal paint, ensuring it would remain bright and engaging in a public outdoor setting.

Leeds Street Art Gallery, a local street art collective that promotes artists and collaborates with the city council on public art projects, issued an open call for mural designs inspired by the natural environment of Beeston. My design was selected as the winning entry and was commissioned for one of the area's electrical boxes.
Inspired by the theme of nature, I focused on the idea of blooming flowers as a symbol of growth and renewal. Given the symmetrical structure of the box, I mirrored the design to enhance its visual harmony and create a balanced, pleasing aesthetic. I chose a vibrant colour palette to capture the energy and optimism of spring, making the mural stand out while reflecting the natural beauty of the area. This was created using only metal paint.

I was commissioned by CA Spaces, an organisation that collaborates with the local council to fund creative public projects, to design and paint a mural for The Mustard Pot, a well-loved local pub. The brief was to capture the essence of the pub without directly using branding or logos.
To get a feel for the atmosphere of the place, I visited the pub and photographed its beautiful entrance and beer garden, which became the foundation for the design. My aim was to evoke the warmth, charm and inviting atmosphere of the space, so i carefully picked out little details such as the garden lights, umbrella and garden flowers to illustrate this.
We chose a rich blue background to reflect the colour found in The Mustard Pot’s branding, while ensuring the design remained subtle and welcoming rather than promotional. The result is a piece that feels rooted in the local community, blending seamlessly into its surroundings while adding a creative touch to the area. A mixture of spray paint and metal paint was used for this.
